Real Madrid vs Paris Saint Germain prediction, international champions cup:
On the 28th of July Real Madrid will face off versus Paris Saint Germain in the International champions cup over at the Ohio Stadium in Columbus. PSG will be coming into this fixture as the defending champions against a Real Madrid team that is coming of a champions league title. Real Madrid has of course won this tournament aswell just 2 years prior to PSG.
We will not be seeing neither Paris Saint Germain or Real Madrid at their full potential as both Gareth Bale and Christiano Ronaldo is still on summer leave, it might be a while before Ronaldo will be featured again since his injury in the EURO16. The Madrid star did however just recently get an airport named after him in his home country.
For PSG on the other hand it will probably take a while before they can reach their previous level of competition, especially if they can’t manage to sign a new star striker. Their biggest challenge will of course be replacing their iconic star Zlatan Ibrahimovic who just left for Manchester United. In every club or national team that he goes to Zlatan gets to dictate a lot on the team and as such he plays a big role both off and on the court. In addition to this PSG’s iconic coach Laurent Blanc has also left and been replaced with former Sevilla coach Unai Emery.
Real Madrid will be coming into this fixture with 5 straight wins in their latest 5 games, however they haven’t played a competitive game since their champions league title victory back in may. Real Madrid will have one of the scariest midfield line-ups of the tournament but as both Bale and Ronaldo wont be playing Zidane will be forced to play Benzema and Morata on top. This will weaken the Real Madrid offense quite a bit as well they’re missing two of the best strikers in the world. What we need to keep in mind is that Karim Benzema and Álvaro Morata are likely to compete for their spot in the teams typical starting XI. Because of this there might be some discrepancies between the pair as the one who performs worst could be put into the special formations and after 60 minutes zone.
Paris Saint Germain will be coming into this fixture with 4 victories and 1 draw in their latest 5 games. PSG have played two preseason competitive games, first versus West Brom to whom they won with 2-1 following goals from Rabiot and Lucas. The Parisians have then proceeded to win versus Inter Milan in their first game of the International champions cup. Serge aurier was named man of the match in that game and inspired the team with his energy and ultimately scored two goals in their 3-1 victory.

On first glance this game might seem hard to make a good prediction from but lets look at the suspected formations; It’s likely that we will see a 4-3-3 from PSG and a 4-4-2 with Benzema and Morata on top for Real Madrid. We also know that Real Madrid will pair a great midfield with two world class strikers looking to prove themselves, on the defensive side the two teams: the viking likes the PSG defenders a bit more but favor the Real Madrid keepers heavily.
The Parisians will be led by Edison Cavani who will be looking to prove himself as a worthy successor of Zlatan Ibrahimovich, with support from Angel Di Maria on the side and from Pastore, Motta and Veratti in the midfield we’re sure to see a lot of chances for Cavani. Javier Pastore will also be looking to make the Z man proud as he got the nr 10 shirt on request to the PSG management.
The viking’s prediction for this game is a goal heavy game ending in a Paris Saint Germain victory. Our main reasoning here is that PSG will be more hungry to try out new things with their new line-up and coach, PSG is a very fast playing team with players that are capable of creating a lot of chances from nothing. Real Madrid on the other hand are probably still a bit more laid back following their champions league title, if Bale and Ronaldo would’ve played in this game then Real would be heavy favourites even if Zlatan was still playing for PSG. The Madrid team will need to rely on good cooperation between Benzema and the newly acquired Morata whereas PSG will be able to use well-established offensive plays between their strikers and fast midfield.
The smart gambler will be looking at Over 2.5 goals aswell as Paris Saint Germain regulation time (includes the added penalty time) for this bet. The double selection Draw/PSG also holds some value due to Real Madrid’s strong team core. The main feel for this game is that most of the game will be played around the midfield and it will be centered on offensive plays for both sides. As such both teams to score is also a nice pick for this game.

US Friendly sportsbook & Casino:
Bovada is part of our US friendly casino and US friendly sportsbook section, as players from the US have a harder time finding online casinos and sportsbooks that accept payments from american players following the transaction regulations. However the casinos and sportsbooks found on our US friendly casino page and our US friendly sportsbooks page all cater to US players specifically and that means that their banking methods have the main goal of being as convenient as possible for americans.
With all the hassle that can occur most online casinos and bookmakers decided to decline american players membership on their sites when the regulation started. As a result of this a lot of shady / rogue establishments started targeting american players. Even though there is several legit and renowned companies around now, we still recommend that you do some background research before registering at a new site or simply check out our US friendly pages where you will find legit and trustworthy casinos and sportsbooks.
